The Carolina Panthers have activated offensive tackle Taylor Moton, who will make his 2026 season debut after recovering from a medical setback. Moton missed the entirety of training camp and early regular-season action due to blood clots in his lung, but his return to practice this week has cleared the way for his activation from the physically unable to perform list.
With first-round pick Monroe Freeling sidelined by a knee injury, Moton is expected to reclaim his starting role at right tackle, potentially facing the Philadelphia Eagles in his first game back. The Panthers also recalled defensive lineman Turk Wharton and running back Trevor Etienne from injured reserve, while promoting practice-squad players Anthony Tyus and Robert Rochell to the active roster.
