Padel, like the NBA and NFL: rings for the Milan winners

Organizers of the upcoming Milano P1 tournament have announced a unique twist for the 2026 competition by awarding championship rings inspired by major American sports leagues like the NBA and NFL. Crafted by Lagati Padel Jewels, these special prizes are adorned with rubies, emeralds, and dozens of diamonds arranged to depict the local Duomo cathedral alongside the Italian national flag.

Angela Lagati, who owns the jewelry company, detailed that the central landmark design relies on forty-eight distinct diamonds while the surrounding tricolor pattern incorporates eight matching stones of each color. Additionally, the accessories feature an ingenious mechanical adaptation inside the band resembling miniature padel rackets, which double as adjustable sizing fins for winners with different finger dimensions.

The scheduled Premier Padel stop will take place from October 19 through October 25, introducing this North American tradition to the circuit.
