The Green Bay Packers made significant roster adjustments ahead of their high-stakes Sunday Night Football showdown with the Dallas Cowboys, placing three key players on injured reserve. Defensive linemen Jonathan Ford and Javon Hargrave, along with wide receiver Skyy Moore, were all moved to IR, joining cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who had already been ruled out for the game.
The team activated receiver Savion Williams from IR and elevated practice squad players Arron Mosby (edge) and Coleman Owen (receiver) to bolster their 48-man roster, which currently stands at 51 players due to St-Juste’s absence. Despite these changes, the Packers remain thin at critical positions, including the offensive line and secondary, where they have only eight players at cornerback and safety if rookie Brandon Cisse plays.
The defense, in particular, faces challenges with limited backup options heading into a matchup against one of the NFL’s top offenses.
