Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. recently spoke out following his release by the New York Giants.
The veteran player accepted a minimum salary this offseason to rejoin the franchise for his age-33 year, but he barely saw the field through the first three games of the autumn campaign, logging zero catches across twenty total offensive snaps. During a recent home victory against the Tennessee Titans, supporters chanted his name from the stands, but club management ultimately decided to terminate his contract.
After a fan posted a critical video accusing front office personnel of exploiting the wideout purely for merchandise and ticket sales, Beckham responded in agreement. He stated that the organization ultimately emerged victorious from the situation and admitted that he ought to have anticipated the outcome.
