San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama recently spent part of his off-season training with French rugby club Provence, highlighting the strong team unity and rigorous physical conditioning he experienced. The twenty-two-year-old athlete joined the squad alongside teammate Harrison Barnes, participating in line-outs, passing drills, and tackle pad exercises while connecting with players like former England international Teimana Harrison.
Wembanyama previously sought unconventional athletic training by spending two weeks with Shaolin monks in China during 2025. In other activities, the towering basketball player hosted his Hoop Gambit event in Le Chesnay, which combines basketball with games of chess.
Earlier in the year, Wembanyama and the Spurs reached the NBA Championship series before losing four games to one against the New York Knicks in June. Meanwhile, Provence has enjoyed a strong start to their domestic campaign, securing five consecutive victories in pursuit of promotion to the Top 14.
