More Bad News: Flyers Prospect Maksim Sokolovskii Out With an Injury

The Philadelphia organization has suffered another setback as top prospect Maksim Sokolovskii is forced to the sidelines with a lower-body injury. The London Knights announced on Friday that their eighteen-year-old blueliner will be week-to-week, adding to a growing list of sidelined players for the NHL club that already includes Denver Barkey, Nikita Grebenkin, and Helge Grans.

Sokolovskii had appeared in just one game during the current campaign prior to this announcement, contributing to a 7-4 victory against the Owen Sound Attack on September 25. During that lone appearance, the Russian defenseman delivered a heavy body check to Lucian Bernat before dropping the gloves with Julian Brown, a former teammate who now plays for the opposing squad.
