Montreal visits Washington after shootout win

Fresh off a 4-3 victory against Buffalo, the Montreal Canadiens are preparing for their next matchup against Washington. Zachary Bolduc secured the recent win by netting the clinching goal during a shootout, marking the second consecutive game he has performed that feat.

Lane Hutson and Cole Caufield also contributed significantly to the effort, each recording a goal and an assist despite the team surrendering a two-goal advantage earlier in the contest. The Capitals enter this meeting while managing various roster adjustments, including the absence of Pierre-Luc Dubois due to illness and ongoing evaluations regarding their lineup.
