MMBets: The Wizards Attempt Good Basketball

After enduring several seasons of bottom-tier finishes and roster experimentation, the Washington Wizards are pivoting toward a more competitive trajectory. The franchise secured the top overall draft selection to acquire AJ Dybantsa, pairing the rookie with established stars Trae Young and Anthony Davis.

With a supporting cast that includes Alex Sarr, Tre Johnson, Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George, Bub Carrington, and Will Riley, the team aims to improve upon last year's 17-65 record. Oddsmakers have set the team's win total at 35.5, reflecting optimism that the blend of veterans and young prospects will yield better results.

The organization also bolstered its depth by adding Deandre Ayton, Tre Mann, Khris Middleton, and Felix Okpara, while parting ways with Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell, and Cam Whitmore.
