Missouri’s injury concerns deepened Wednesday as the Tigers reported a season-high 24 players on their availability list, marking an eight-player increase from last week’s report ahead of their SEC clash with Texas A&M. The surge includes both returning and newly added names, with several key contributors listed as questionable for the second straight week.
Among them are linebacker Robert Woodyard Jr., offensive tackle Cayden Green, safety Santana Banner, and edge rusher Darris Smith, all of whom played in Saturday’s win over Texas A&M but showed lingering limitations. New additions to the questionable list include backup offensive lineman Khalief Canty Jr., wide receiver Shaun Terry II, linebacker Jeremiah Beasley, cornerback Cameron Keys, tight end Brett Norfleet, and defensive lineman Sterling Webb, the latter two having suffered setbacks during the Aggies game.
For the first time this season, starting quarterback Austin Simmons—returning to his former program—was added to the report as probable, joining wide receiver DaMarion Fowlkes, linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez, safeties Kensley Louidor-Faustin and Jayden McGregory, tight end Jordon Harris, and edges Langden Kitchen and Daeden Hopkins. Five players remain out indefinitely, including running backs Ahmad Hardy and Malae Fonoti, tight end Gavin Hoffman, safety JaDon Blair, and offensive tackle Josh Atkins, who have yet to appear this season or are recovering from season-ending injuries.
