Mike Macdonald apologizes to Sean Payton for past story on cheating dispute

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald reached out to Denver Broncos counterpart Sean Payton after a private conversation leaked online. In the recording from a recent interview, Macdonald recounted an old dispute in which Payton accused the Seattle organization of cheating by using video equipment during a 2024 encounter.

Payton later confirmed that the pair spoke to clear the air and noted that everything is resolved between them.
