Matias Maccelli To Skate On Islanders' Top Line vs. Ottawa Senators

The New York Islanders are set to make a key lineup adjustment for their upcoming matchup against the Ottawa Senators, with forward Matias Maccelli earning a spot on the top line. Maccelli, who has shown early promise since joining the team, scored his first goal for New York in a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks earlier this week.

The win marked the third consecutive victory for the Islanders at UBS Arena, though their season has been marked by alternating wins and losses in their first six games. Meanwhile, the Senators will face challenges without star forward Brady Tkachuk, who sits out due to a recent hat trick, and forward Eklund the Lesser, who is injured.

The Islanders' recent offensive surge, led by Kyle Palmieri’s resurgence after a torn ACL, adds optimism as they head into their Ontario road trip.
