Live Preseason Discussion: Brooklyn Nets at Charlotte Hornets, 7:00 PM ET

The Brooklyn Nets will open their preseason campaign on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7:00 PM ET against the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The game will be available on YES, DAZN, or NBA TV, and it also serves as a preview for the Nets’ regular‑season debut on Oct. 21.

Brooklyn enters the matchup without forward Mikel Brown Jr., who suffered an ankle sprain in training camp, and guard Joshua Jefferson, who is sidelined with a back issue. Charlotte will be missing Grant Williams and Kon Knueppel (both hamstring concerns), guard Coby White (calf), and forward Kylan Boswell (knee).

Head coach Sean Marks indicated Brown’s injury is not expected to be serious, and both clubs are expected to field most of their regular‑season rotations in the preseason contest.
