Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has dismissed any notion of giving starting running back Ashton Jeanty a break from action, insisting the backfield star will play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Jeanty, who has dealt with ankle and foot issues since training camp but has not missed a game this season, practiced fully Wednesday and was removed from the injury report.
The Raiders, looking to end a two-game losing streak, will welcome Jeanty back into the lineup after he was a game-day decision last week against New England.
Meanwhile, defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway remains in concussion protocol and will not practice Wednesday, with his status for Sunday still uncertain. Wide receiver Jalen Nailor, sidelined by a concussion in the New England game, is expected to return to practice Thursday with hopes of playing.
The team also opened the 21-day window for tight end Carter Runyon to return from injured reserve, while rookie offensive lineman Trey Zuhn resumed limited practice after missing Week 5 with a knee injury.
