Khabib Nurmagomedov's Undefeated Cousin Usman Is a Free Agent, and His Team Already Wants Ilia Topuria

Usman Nurmagomedov has officially entered free agency following the conclusion of his exclusive negotiating period with the PFL. The undefeated lightweight, who holds a record of 22 wins and one no-contest, previously turned down a 2 million dollar contract offer from the promotion.

His final appearance under that banner occurred in July at a New York event where he defeated Archie Colgan via a first-round stoppage. Following his departure, UFC CEO Dana White indicated that the organization is now open to beginning formal discussions with the fighter.

Manager Ali Abdelaziz has publicly expressed interest in securing a high-profile debut for his client against Ilia Topuria, predicting a victory within four rounds. Topuria is currently looking to bounce back after suffering a knockout defeat at the hands of Justin Gaethje.
