Jedd Fisch Remains Noncommittal on Quarterback Decision

Washington secured its initial Big Ten victory of the 2026 campaign by defeating Purdue 38-26. Head coach Jedd Fisch opted to start Elijah Brown in place of the injured Demond Williams Jr., who was sidelined due to a rib issue.

Brown finished the contest with 302 passing yards and three touchdowns, though he also recorded three interceptions during the win. Following the performance, Fisch has not yet committed to a permanent starter for the position moving forward.
