Jaker Ali replaces concussed Mominul Haque in Bangladesh vs West Indies 1st Test

Bangladesh was forced to make a concussion substitution during the first Test against the West Indies in Mirpur after Mominul Haque sustained a head injury while fielding at short leg. Jaker Ali Anik has stepped into the lineup for the remainder of the match.

The hosts currently hold a 61-run lead, though they are struggling at 34/4 in their second innings following a collapse triggered by Roston Chase, who claimed three wickets. Earlier in the day, Nayeem Hasan secured four wickets to help bowl the visitors out for 245, granting Bangladesh a 27-run advantage after the first innings.

Rain eventually halted play while Jaker Ali and Litton Das were attempting to stabilize the batting effort.
