The Philadelphia Eagles have completed another significant offseason move by trading center Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens, marking the departure of a second starting offensive lineman in as many days after Lane Johnson’s retirement. General Manager Howie Roseman emphasized that the trade was not made to address immediate roster needs but to secure long-term flexibility.
In return, the Eagles acquired a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder, while sending a 2027 seventh-round selection to Baltimore. Jurgens, who signed a four-year contract extension in 2025 with $16 million guaranteed in 2027, shifted to left guard after Landon Dickerson’s injury, allowing Drew Kendall to step into the starting center role.
Roseman also highlighted the financial relief from the trade, which will help fund key re-signings and extensions on the defensive side, reshaping the Eagles’ offensive lineup for future competitiveness.
