How beating the Bills impacts the Patriots’ playoff and AFC East outlook

Following a heavy defeat earlier, New England rebounded strongly during Week 4 by defeating Buffalo 29-26 on enemy territory to tighten the division race. Mike Vrabel oversees a squad now sitting at two wins and two losses, tightening the gap in the division behind the three-win leaders while holding the crucial tiebreaker advantage.

Jeff Hafley leads a struggling Miami franchise that sits winless at the bottom with a dismal scoring differential, trailing behind New York and the rest of the conference. Meanwhile, New England vaulted into the seventh playoff slot thanks to conference tiebreakers and prepares to host Las Vegas at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
