Legendary sports promoter Barry Hearn has invested in non-league football club Brentwood Town, following an initial shirt sponsorship by Matchroom in July 2023 and a subsequent minority stake. 43, eventually clearing their debts and guiding them to the League One play-off final at Wembley in 2014, where they lost on penalties to Rotherham before he sold the club.
