Chelsea secured a dominant 5-1 victory over Bournemouth, moving up to fifth place in the Premier League standings. Jordan Henderson led the charge with two goals, opening the scoring within the first minute and adding a late free-kick to seal the win.

Morgan Rogers, Joao Pedro, and an own goal from Evanilson also contributed to the tally, while Emi Martinez provided a key save for the visitors. This result marks a significant recovery for Xabi Alonso's squad following their previous defeat against Brentford.
