Hants thrash Surrey to reach Women's One-Day Cup final

Hampshire secured a 194-run victory against Surrey at the Utilita Bowl to earn a spot in the Metro Bank Women's One-Day Cup final for the second consecutive year. Having been asked to bat first, the hosts recovered from 50-2—following the early dismissals of Ella McCaughan and Georgia Adams—behind an unbeaten 117 from Maia Bouchier.

Her successive century featured significant stands of 110 with Freya Kemp (77) and 109 with Abi Norgrove (60), guiding Hampshire to a commanding total of 303-5 despite Sune Luus claiming 2-43. Kira Chathli bowled a single over before leaving wicketkeeping duties early, while Rhianna Southby fell caught and bowled alongside Kemp.
