Ahead of their upcoming SEC showdown on Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Georgia Bulldogs submitted their availability report confirming that running back Chauncey Bowens will miss the contest.
Bowens leads the squad with six rushing scores this year alongside 124 yards, though his absence leaves a noticeable void in the team's power running attack. Meanwhile, teammate Nate Frazier avoided the injury report and is expected to return following a two-game absence due to rib issues, having previously amassed a team-leading 211 yards and five touchdowns.
Additional depth will come from Dwight Phillips and Bo Walker, while Dante Dowdell remains sidelined for the remainder of the campaign following an offseason ATV incident. Several other athletes, including Amaris Williams, Thomas Blackshear, Marcus Harrison, and Tyriq Green, were also ruled out for the fixture.
