The Seattle Kraken defeated the Detroit Red Wings 6-3 on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with Nicklas Gaudreau scoring twice during a dominant four-goal second period. The Kraken's offensive surge overwhelmed the Red Wings, who managed only three goals despite William Wallinder and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard each recording their first NHL goals of the season.

Detroit goaltender John Gibson was pulled in the second period after allowing five goals on 15 shots, marking a difficult stretch for the team, which enters this matchup with a 1-2-0 record.
