Game day preview Illinois at Michigan State; 2:30 p.m., Saturday (FS1)

Michigan State football looks to snap a three-game losing streak when they host Illinois for homecoming on Saturday, October 10. The Spartans, currently searching for their first Big Ten win of the season, face a critical test against a Fighting Illini team that could end its own recent struggles with a victory.

Illinois, led by head coach Bret Bielema, enters the game as a slight favorite, with their defense under new coordinator Roger [last name omitted] expected to play a key role in securing the win. The matchup, set to begin at 2:30 p.m.

ET on FS1, carries significant implications for both teams as they vie for momentum in the conference race.
