Game #3: Ducks vs. Oilers Gameday Preview (10/07/26)

The undefeated Anaheim Ducks face the Edmonton Oilers today, with rookie Nikita Klepov set to make his professional debut alongside linemates Nikita Nesterenko and Ryan Poehling. Anaheim enters the contest following two narrow victories, relying on strong penalty killing and power play efficiency, while Edmonton arrives with a high-scoring but defensively porous record of 17 goals for and 14 against.

Oilers coach Mike Babcock, who replaced Kris Knoblauch this summer, plans to implement a conservative, trap-heavy strategy to counter Anaheim's speed. Devon Levi will start in goal for Edmonton as the team manages injuries and roster adjustments, including the absence of Frederik Andersen.
