Galán Speaks Frankly About Future with Chingotto: 'If We Don’t Beat Tapia and Coello, We Fail'

Spanish doubles duo Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto are facing their most challenging stretch of the season after a series of disappointing results. Their recent struggles began with a loss to the Tapia-Coello pairing at the French Open, followed by early exits in Rotterdam and Düsseldorf, where they fell to Stupa-Sanz in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.

The setbacks have widened their gap in the 2026 Race standings, now over 2,000 points behind the top-ranked team, fueling speculation about a potential split before year's end. Despite their talent, the pair has yet to regain momentum, leaving their future collaboration in question as pressure mounts.
