Four Colorado Buffaloes Who Deserve Bigger Roles After Bye Week

Following a 29-7 defeat to Texas Tech that extended their losing streak to three games, the Colorado Buffaloes are utilizing their bye week to evaluate roster adjustments. Head coach Deion Sanders is seeking improved performance from his younger players as the team prepares to host Utah on October 17.

Among those under consideration for expanded responsibilities are freshman quarterback Kaneal Sweetwyne, who has seen limited action, and running back Damian Henderson II, who showed promise with 19 yards on three carries and a key third-down reception. Additionally, the coaching staff is focusing on the development of true freshman offensive lineman Xavier Payne, who recently earned his first career start.
