Forgotten Pakistan opener follows fifty with 120-ball 156 to start domestic season in style

Sharjeel Khan delivered an explosive 156-run knock from just 120 balls for Ghani during their President’s Trophy Grade-I match against Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. Walking to the crease after an early deficit, he combined with Khawaja Arham for a 186-run partnership, hitting 25 fours and five sixes before falling to Shahnawaz Dahani.

Support from Mohammad Rameez Jr, Mohsin Riaz, and Haseebullah pushed Ghani to a total of 409 and a first-innings lead of 257. Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar Jr and Khurram Shahzad dismissed Sui Northern Gas for 152, though Sameer Minhas and Mohammad Imran resisted briefly before Minhas and Omair Bin Yousuf resumed batting in the second innings.
