Five days, no gold: India's shooting struggles deepen at Asian Games

India faced another disappointing day at the Asian Games in Nagoya as their men's 10m air pistol squad failed to secure a medal, extending a gold-less drought to five days. Athletes Kamaljeet, Aakash Bhardwaj, and Kedarling Uchaganve all missed the eight-shooter final, with Kamaljeet finishing ninth and Bhardwaj taking 11th.

Kedarling struggled significantly and finished 35th, while Japan capitalized on the late slump to claim the bronze medal ahead of the fourth-place Indian team. This followed a similar early exit by the women's team, casting doubt on matching their previous record haul under High Performance Director Pierre Beauchamp.
