Fermin Lopez talks Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo competition, losses to PSG and Real Madrid: ‘He’s the best’

Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez recently reflected on his long-standing bond with teammate Lamine Yamal, describing the young forward as the premier player in the world. Lopez, who celebrated his 150th appearance for the club during a victory against Aston Villa, also addressed the healthy internal competition for playing time with Dani Olmo.

Regarding the squad's recent form, Lopez attributed the losses to PSG and Real Madrid to a lack of sharpness and poor execution on the pitch. He emphasized that the team is now focused on moving forward following their recent wins against Alaves and Aston Villa.
