C.J. Stroud’s resurgence in Week 6 has fantasy managers taking notice as the Texans quarterback appears to be rediscovering his 2023 form.
After a shaky stretch, Stroud delivered a strong performance in London, completing 24 of 34 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns, leading Houston to a last-second victory. His three consecutive games of 20-plus fantasy points—including multiple offensive touchdowns and 307 passing yards per contest—have reignited expectations, though consistency over a longer stretch will be key before he’s crowned a top-tier QB1.
Meanwhile, the Texans’ supporting cast, including a healthy Nico Collins and a breakout Jaylin Noel, has bolstered Stroud’s play, with Marvin Harrison Jr. also showing improvement in his first season with the team.
Tank Dell’s potential return could further solidify the offense’s depth moving forward.
Elsewhere, Germie Bernard emerged as a fantasy standout after hauling in 11 catches on 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in Week 6. The Steelers rookie’s route-running dominance—covering 44 routes, just two fewer than DK Metcalf—highlighted his immediate impact, especially with Roman Wilson sidelined and Aaron Rodgers continuing to elevate Pittsburgh’s passing game.
Bernard’s production places him among elite weekly FLEX options, with potential to step into a WR1 role in Metcalf’s down weeks. Meanwhile, Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III, once highly touted Bears prospects, remain in fantasy limbo after underwhelming starts to the season, with Burden ranking as the WR26 entering Week 6 and neither player yet delivering consistent double-digit fantasy output.
