The upcoming AFC East showdown between the Patriots and Jets will feature a rare reunion of seven players who have worn both teams’ jerseys at different points in their careers. Among them, fullback Andrew Beck returns to Gillette Stadium after a winding path through the league.
Drafted undetected by the Patriots in 2019, Beck was waived mid-camp but later carved out a steady role with the Broncos, amassing 92 games and 24 starts while earning NFL’s Salute to Service recognition. Now back in the division as a futures signing, the 30-year-old brings a mix of receiving and rushing contributions to the Jets’ offense this season.
On the offensive line, Chukwuma Okorafor and Morgan Moses represent another layer of shared history. Okorafor, a former third-round Steelers pick, spent a brief stint with New England in 2024 before joining the Jets, where he’s become a reliable presence in the kicking game.
Meanwhile, Moses—selected by Washington in 2014—has anchored the Patriots’ right tackle spot since 2025, starting all 22 regular-season games while also logging 30 starts during two prior stints with the Jets. Rounding out the group, guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, a first-round pick in 2021, has been a standout for the Patriots this fall, starting all five games at left guard after arriving via free agency.
Their collective experience adds intrigue to a matchup heavy with NFL résumés.
