Essex cricketer Das charged with two counts of rape

Essex county cricketer Robin Das faces a pair of rape allegations following formal charges brought forward by authorities. The 24-year-old athlete is scheduled for a court appearance in October after previously being taken into custody regarding an incident reported in Brixton.

His employer confirmed that he has remained under suspension since the initial arrest late last year while judicial proceedings move forward.
