Dream find a way to overcome Liberty in OT to secure 2-0 lead

The Atlanta Dream extended their perfect playoff record with a hard-fought 101-98 overtime victory over the New York Liberty in Game 2 of their semifinal series. Naz Hilmon sealed the win with a clutch basket in the final seconds of OT, capitalizing on a Liberty turnover and a foul on Angel Reese, who closed out the game with two free throws.

The Dream dominated possession and offensive rebounds, outlasting the Liberty despite shooting just 45% from the field. Reese and Jordin Canada led the scoring with 23 points each, while Isobel Borlase contributed 11 points and three three-pointers off the bench.

The Liberty’s 17 turnovers proved costly, as Atlanta converted them into 28 points, while the Dream limited their own miscues to just 10. Atlanta now holds a 2-0 series lead and will look to complete the sweep in Game 3 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday.
