Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio delivered a historic postseason performance in Game 3 of the NLCS, becoming the youngest player to lead MLB in postseason home runs before turning 23. Facing Dodgers pitcher Blake Snell, Chourio launched a leadoff shot off a 97.6 mph fastball to give the Brewers an early 1-0 lead.
With six postseason homers, he now holds the league lead, surpassing Juan Soto and Kyle Schwarber, who were previously tied with five. Chourio, who entered the game averaging .290 with 20 hits and 17 RBIs in the postseason, has been a key offensive force for Milwaukee, especially after struggling in the NLDS against the Padres, where he hit just .200.
His resurgence includes a .300 batting average in the NLCS, and he also holds the Brewers’ all-time postseason home run record after blasting a game-winning shot in the opening game of the series against San Diego.
