Davante Adams' touchdown gives Rams a 7-6 lead

October 13, 2026

The Los Angeles Rams snapped their early Monday Night Football slump with a hard-fought 7-6 lead over the Buffalo Bills, thanks to a clutch 4-yard touchdown from Davante Adams. The play capped a 14-play, 71-yard drive that followed a missed 50-yard field goal attempt by Rams kicker Harrison Mevis, who had earlier squandered a 53-yard scoring opportunity.

The Bills had taken a 6-0 lead on a 23-yard field goal by Tyler Bass after a stalled drive at the Rams’ 5-yard line, but Los Angeles’ offense responded with precision, including a 13-of-16, 76-yard performance from Matthew Stafford, who connected on the game-sealing touchdown pass to Adams. Buffalo’s opening kickoff return by Ray Davis, a 70-yard gain to the Rams’ 26, was cut short by a push out of bounds from Rams punter Ethan Evans, forcing the Bills to settle for Bass’ 49-yard field goal instead of a potential early touchdown threat.
