Commanders put Jacory Croskey-Merritt on IR, activate three players

Washington has shifted its roster ahead of Monday night's contest, placing running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve due to a groin issue that will sideline him for at least four weeks. Linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste also heads to injured reserve, while linebacker Austin Keys has been waived to clear space.

The team will rely on Austin Ekeler, Rachaad White, and Jeremy McNichols in the backfield moving forward. To bolster the lineup, the Commanders activated Jeremy McNichols, cornerback Trey Amos, and linebacker Jordan Magee from injured reserve.

Additionally, linebacker T.J. Maguranyanga was brought up from the practice squad to complete the team's roster adjustments.
