Commanders designate LB Jordan Magee for return

Washington Commanders linebacker Jordan Magee has been cleared to return to team activities after being placed on injured reserve. The franchise officially designated Magee for return on Thursday, allowing him to participate in practices over the next three weeks.

If activated within that window, Magee could suit up for the Commanders’ upcoming matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Magee has already made an impact in his first two seasons, appearing in 25 games and accumulating 63 tackles along with four tackles for loss.

His return comes after a brief setback in Week 1, where he recorded two tackles before suffering a hamstring injury late in the game.
