The Indianapolis Colts have initiated a 21-day practice window for Will Mallory, allowing the tight end to return to the field following a thumb injury. Mallory, who was sidelined during an August 20th joint session with the Atlanta Falcons, must be added to the active roster within three weeks or remain on injured reserve for the remainder of the 2026 season.
The team currently manages a deep position group that includes Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, and Drew Ogletree. Mallory previously demonstrated his potential during an August 13th preseason matchup against the New England Patriots, where he recorded 80 yards on six catches.
