Chris DeMarco Praises Marine Fauthoux's Big-Moment Play in Liberty's Game 2 Loss

New York Liberty bench player Marine Fauthoux delivered a clutch performance in Game 2 of their WNBA semifinal series against the Atlanta Dream, scoring 20 points off the bench and hitting a game-tying three-pointer from 25 feet with 10.3 seconds left in regulation. Her 8-of-10 shooting included 4-of-6 from three-point range, along with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 30:50 of action.

Despite fouling out with 4.3 seconds remaining in overtime, Fauthoux’s heroics kept the Liberty competitive, though Atlanta ultimately prevailed 101-98 to extend their series lead to 2-0. The Dream now hold the upper hand in a best-of-five series, where no WNBA team has ever overcome a 0-2 deficit to win the championship.
