Charles Barkley wants Jalen Rose to replace him on ‘Inside the NBA’

Charles Barkley has named his preferred successor for his television studio role should he finally step away from the sportscasting spotlight. During a recent media appearance, the prominent analyst pointed to Jalen Rose as the ideal candidate to take over his seat on Inside the NBA.

While also acknowledging Draymond Green as a capable option, Barkley praised Rose for his previous guest work on the program and his familiarity with the crew. Barkley's own future on the show remains tied to Ernie Johnson, as he has repeatedly insisted that his upcoming television run will be his final one only if Johnson also retires.
