Caleb Williams returned from a Week 2 hamstring strain and guided Chicago to a 31‑23 victory over Atlanta, building a 14‑0 lead in the opening quarter and extending it to 31‑7 early in the fourth. The Bears’ offense clicked as Williams threw efficiently, while Luther Burden hauled in all eight of his targets for 95 yards, and D’Andre Swift added two short rushing touchdowns.
Roschon Johnson also found the end zone and later took a knee after a first‑down to run out the clock. Atlanta’s Michael Penix sparked a late rally, connecting twice with Kyle Pitts and converting two two‑point attempts to narrow the gap, but the comeback stalled at 31‑23.
Bijan Robinson contributed 61 yards on nine carries for the Falcons, though the team largely abandoned the run, and Zachariah Branch suffered two fumbles.
The win moved Chicago to 4‑2 and kept them in the NFC North race, while Atlanta fell to 2‑4.
