Burnham had two hospitality dinners with Man City chairman, deleted records show

Records have revealed that Andy Burnham shared two previously undisclosed hospitality dinners with the chairman of Manchester City while serving as mayor of Greater Manchester. The meals occurred during fixtures in 2017 and 2018, though they were omitted from a recent transparency statement issued by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority regarding interactions with the football club.

Downed registers had previously logged these events alongside an Everton clash and a derby fixture, but officials have since deleted those documents from their public portal.
