Bumrah ruled out of Test series in Sri Lanka

Jasprit Bumrah has been sidelined for India's upcoming Test tour of Sri Lanka. His absence compounds existing selection challenges for the visiting side, who entered the contest already lacking multiple squad members. Both Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana were previously confirmed to be unavailable for the entire series. Adding to these squad limitations, Washington Sundar is set to sit out the opening Test match at a minimum.
