Brooks Koepka Takes Shot at Bryson DeChambeau While Defending Rory McIlroy

Brooks Koepka recently defended Rory McIlroy for ignoring Bryson DeChambeau during the 2025 Masters, arguing that McIlroy needed to maintain focus while chasing a career Grand Slam. Koepka suggested that most players would prefer not to engage with DeChambeau, citing his unique personality.

This exchange occurred on the ninth green, where the two golfers disputed the order of play before a rules official intervened. Koepka also noted that he witnessed an unnamed player illegally improving their lie in the rough during a 2026 PGA Tour event, though he declined to name the individual.

Following a difficult 2026 season with only one top-10 finish, Koepka found some late success at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and is now preparing for the 2027 TGL season.
