The Denver Broncos have moved rookie running back Jonah Coleman onto the short-term injured reserve list following a high-ankle sprain sustained during their Week 2 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Although he managed to play through the issue and score his first career rushing touchdown to help secure the win, he will now miss the mandatory four-game stretch and aims to return in late October for the matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
In his absence, the team will lean on returning backs JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey, alongside Tyler Badie on third downs and Cody Schrader as depth on the practice squad.
