Bring back Evero? Former Rams coach loses defensive coordinator job

The Carolina Panthers have dismissed defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero following a recent defeat against the Green Bay Packers. Evero, who previously served on the Los Angeles Rams coaching staff from 2017 to 2021, had been leading the Carolina defense since 2023.

After a stint with the Denver Broncos, Evero joined the Panthers, where his unit experienced fluctuating performance levels over several seasons. With the Rams currently evaluating their own defensive secondary, some observers are questioning whether a reunion with the former assistant could be beneficial.
