During Sunday's contest against the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants defender Brian Burns exited the field with a right leg injury after being unable to put weight on the limb, requiring assistance from teammates Aaron Stinnie and Andrew Thomas. Head Coach John Harbaugh announced following the match that the player will undergo an MRI on his knee tonight, noting that the organization maintains some optimism regarding the severity of the issue.

The edge rusher had previously been listed as questionable heading into the weekend due to a preexisting ankle problem.
