Two teams heading in opposite directions meet in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo (4-1) has won four of its first five, most recently a 37-34 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. The Raiders (3-2) started 3-0 and have dropped two straight, the latest a 45-17 road defeat at New England.
Buffalo's final Friday report carried no player listed as out. Wide receivers DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer (both shoulder), defensive tackles Ed Oliver (knee) and T.J.
Sanders (shoulder) and cornerback Dee Alford (ankle) are questionable. Right tackle Spencer Brown (back) practised fully on Friday, and head coach Joe Brady has said he will play.
Moore and Oliver had been non-participants earlier in the week, so their status is worth watching.
Las Vegas has its own gaps. Defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway (concussion), tight end Carter Runyon (foot) and receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr.
(hamstring) are out, and rookie guard Trey Zuhn III (knee) is questionable. There is good news for the home side: running back Ashton Jeanty has no injury designation, and wide receiver Jalen Nailor cleared the concussion protocol.
For the Raiders, the question is how quickly they can respond to a 28-point loss. For the Bills, who needed overtime to get past the Rams, it is a chance to follow a tight win with another road result.
