Big Ten Power Rankings: Where do the Badgers fit after hectic Week 6?

The Wisconsin Badgers used their bye week to regroup ahead of a critical road test against the UCLA Bruins, now ranked No. 12 after a dominant upset win over Oregon.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Big Ten delivered a packed slate of results, with Iowa routing Washington on the road by a lopsided margin, despite being underdogs. Indiana secured a narrow 20-17 victory over Nebraska, clawing back from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter, while UCLA’s offensive firepower continued to shine under Bob Chesney.

The Bruins’ undefeated start took a hit, however, with star running back Nico Iamaleava suffering a serious knee injury that could disrupt their momentum. Elsewhere, USC edged out Penn State in Happy Valley, and Illinois stunned Michigan State in overtime, with a second-string quarterback sealing the win.

Minnesota fell hard to Purdue, while Iowa’s schedule ahead remains stacked with tough matchups, including a home game against Wisconsin and a road trip to Illinois, where they’ll face a resurgent Badgers defense.
